By preventing copying and ensuring only licensed users can run your software
By making it harder for hostile actors to reverse engineer, modify, or extract your IP
By reducing IP exposure when distributing or deploying software globally without engineering effort
Teams often underestimate the long-term cost and risk of relying on in-house or open-source protection tools. Sentinel Envelope reduces the burden with a proven protection solution used across hundreds of thousands of deployments and proven to withstand real-world attacks.

Sentinel Envelope is an automatic file packer with advanced security capabilities. It works together with licensing keys to protect your product from reverse engineering, tampering, piracy, and more.
Sentinel encrypts and obfuscates your binaries, makes logic and algorithms difficult to understand and access, prevents debugging, and validates integrity at runtime — making it far harder for attackers to view or steal your proprietary IP.
In addition, Sentinel keys (software, cloud, or hardware) provide the Envelope with a cryptography engine, used for decryption of protected binaries and validation of licenses and encryption/decryption of data files and machine learning models.
The windows and Linux native binary protection is programing language agnostic, so if the binary is standard, the Envelope works regardless of programing language used to develop it.
Yes. Sentinel provides applications that integrate AI features with strong protection from used by unauthorized users and from being reverse engineered, utilizing encryption and runtime protection. Common ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow are fully supported
IoT devices are often deployed in remote, untrusted environments where protection is critical but challenging.

Dongles are beneficial in scenarios where the highest level of security is needed, and in scenarios where the license needs to be portable, including in sites with no connectivity.
Security: Sentinel dongles, including Sentinel HL (also known as HASP) still provide the highest level of security against copying and IP protection because the attacker has less access if the code execution takes place on a dongle/USB and not on the computer.
Portability: You can easily disconnect the license from one machine and attach it to another. You just stick the USB stick into the new machine. (This is possible with software-based keys also using a re-host, but it requires more steps and a USB drive.)
